9th Grade Reflection
The reason why I came here, is because it was kind of the last resort. I didn’t have that good of a record in eighth grade, so every school I applied to, rejected me. On the bright side, it is better than the school I was zoned to. In the long run, it was a win-win situation, I got to go to an exemplary school, rather than an unrecognized school. But I had read some stuff about International, so in a way I was actually thrilled to come, it also meant a fresh start for me.
The class I was most successful in was JROTC, because I was really devoted to that class. I did everything I had to do, and everything I needed to do. I’ll have to say that science was my most unsuccessful class. Reason being is, I didn’t really do m work in that class. I always goofed off and played around. Also for some reason I didn’t take that class serious either. My mind was always on drill team and the girl I was going out with at the time. Another reason is sometimes the teacher made me mad, so I didn’t do anything so that way the teacher would get mad at me.
I had many memorable moments last year. One of them is, when I got to be in the performing team on drill team. I was the only freshman that was on the performing team, and the there hadn’t been a freshman on the performing team for a really long time, so it was a pretty big deal to me. Another memorable moment was, well it wasn’t really a moment, but more of a feeling. What I felt was joy, I got to meet a whole bunch of new people and make new acquaintances, and a lot of the people I met last year, I still talk to, and we are very close. Also I remember that after TAKS was over, in homeroom we used to watch movies, and that’s when I started to show the actual feelings I had for this one girl, who’s name will not be mentioned, but it was a really special thing, because pretty much all through out the school year she had a secret crush on me, and so did I. But sadly we found out to late, and we couldn't do anything about it. One reason is because she was going to a different school than me, and I don’t believe in long distance relationships. That was a memorable, and sad moment, but now we are really good friends, and are really close. Another memorable moment is, one time that my buddy and I decided to skip school. We hadn’t really planned out the situation, it was more like a last minute thing, so we decided to leave the school. We left by where the ROTC buildings were, we thought it would be a clean and clever place to exit through. But it turned out that the officer, officer Luna, always passed by there in the little gulf cart he was always in. So we were walking on the street next to the ROTC buildings, when out of no where, Luna drives up to us. At that point, we were like 3 blocks down the street. So we felt really dumb. He took us back to Mr.Yu's office, and he wrote us up and put me on a F 9th Grade Reflection

So we just walked out and the officer, officer Luna, came up in the little gulf cart, and caught us by the houses behind the school. At this point we were like 3 blocks down the street. So we felt really retarded and sad, because our 2 minutes of planning failed. So Luna took us to Mr.Yu's office. He wrote us up, put me on a CEP contract and gave me 180 days of probation.
